Hi, I'm Tiffany the hedgehog(That's my Avatar character over there).
In my opinion, it depends on what your writing. If it's about your life, then I would say, put yourself and some of your friends(with fake names) in and write yourself going on an adventure or something that you've always wanted to do.
If it's taking after a show, cartoon, video game, etc, I would possibly add in some fan chars, and have the characters meeting each other and going on an adventure or something. But that's just my opinion, U can do whatever u want ^^ Just use your imagination, trust me, it works

If you like working with original things, then do an original fiction so you can make your own characters.
Maybe something to do with modern-day issues, or even go out of your way and write a fantasy story about dragons and warriors. Those tend to impress people, and they're pretty fun to write.

If you want a fun and unique writing experince streatch you mind to what you believe is compleatly new. Basically stay out of the main stream stuff like elves, wizards and such a lot of that is floating around in the world. Do like a story on the consolations come alive and have this big battle to pick the spot in the sky they wish to be in.

Hello! I'm Shadowwave the master OGRE! I think you should wright something cool with alot of action and ADVENTURE with a good bit of comedy. Just don't screw it up like the people did with "a Bards tale" (no offence to you who like it. It's a game and not someone's Fanfic)

usually the best way to decide is to just start writing, it doesnt matter what you're writing about at this time. When you find something in your writing that you'd like to write about, then you can start writing about that thing you like.
