FAC's collection of smilies is growing. We actually still have the smiley files from the old (Invision Power Board) forums -- I've re-added a few that we used to have, ones which [i]don't[/i] have a close equivalent smiley in phpBB:

Would it be any point in removing the white around the outlines?

Yes it can (and, IMHO, [i]should[/i]) be done, but it will take some time (and pixel editing) to do that.

Additionally, only denis can re-upload the new images to the smilies folder for use.

Denis however can not do a good job of pixel by pixed editing OWNED.

become :x ???
Angry? x? I see that as more of a 'muffled' or 'silence' smiley, and having it turn into an angry one gets a bit annoying.
Could we possibly change that around some?

Talking about pixel editing... what about a lot of the regular links on the forums? The 'new topic', 'post reply'... all those buttons have white stuff around them. :/ Just a tad annoying at times.

Heh heh, sorry about them...

How do you edit these things exactly, Strata? Do you just put it in paint and microscope, then white out the extra pixels? If that's all there is to it, I could lend a hand. Very Happy
