Gravitation is an anime. If you want to talk about it in this forum you'll have to refer to the live version, Queer as Folk. _________________

"Direct TV satellite" doesn't tell us much actually. There are all sorts of weird combinations of channels depending on what you paid for. I don't think they play it on English language TV anywhere (though I'm no expert, I just haven't heard anything), so you'd need Asian channels. I have only one Asian channel that plays anime, and that's actually coming to us from Singapore, and they only play relatively new stuff anyway.
Unless Gravitation is pumping out new episodes, don't get your hopes up.
You could always find it online, though. You can find nearly everything online. _________________ Go Yankees! |

Then why did you bother asking about TV at all? It's so much easier to watch things on the computer. _________________ Go Yankees! |

Did you actually ever watch Queer as Folk? You totally did not mention it in your posts before Squidman brought it up a couple posts above. Unless your parents are often out of the house dependably for long periods of time, it's not exactly the kind of thing that's easy for a twelve year old to access and watch. If that's even legal.
I've only seen a few episodes (of the North American version). Didn't care enough to watch more.
I'll give you five hundred tries to guess my favourite movie ever. _________________ Go Yankees! |

ACtually it is legal. But normally my parents are downstairs fighing. I have no parental controls on my Television. Normally that's when I catch some of it. I'd like to see Micheal and Justin together. Was his name Justin? Weren't they writing a comic book together? |

This was something that discussed many months ago by me (true, I like Gravitation, but I am not a super-obsessed, drooling fangirl. It's an alright anime). It is most likely not shown on TV at the time because [adult swim] are bastards and won't show the series. Why? Too gay for Americans, and the series has mentions of gang-rape. Though, I have SEEN gayer shows on [adult swim] like Perfect Hair Forever and Super Milk-Chan. |

True. I wish they would show FullMetal Alchemist...and I wish they would air an episode dedicated to Edward Elric bathing...oh, and no cut-offs, no clothes, and no black bars. that'd be my dream TV episode...... |

There is actually a scene where Ed is standing under an outside shower. But he isn't nude. Cartoon Network wouldn't allow for that. |

Yeah, and millions of little kids nationwide would then be subjected to a nude Edward Elric. How wonderful.
Damn it. I wish [adult swim] would get it's own channel; then most of the editing and censoring of shows wouldn't be present at all. |

Trust me. There's 9-year-old kids who watch FMA. The average audience of FMA is about 13 years old. |

I'm thinking that they've seen their father or themselves naked. Why would they be so affected by seeing a friggin cartoon? |

Because parents are retarded and don't want to subject their kids to nudity. I mean, you have seen yourself naked, right? And possibly other people. Plus, there is nudity in most of classical art, mostly Michelangelo's work (i.e.: The Statue of David). Plus, you got to learn about anatomy at some point in your life, right?
Why not make [adult swim] a private satellite channel, totally uncensored? Because Williams' Street sucks right now.
So does F.C.C. Regulations. |
