Why are the deleted pictures still in gallery?

Honestly I hope I didn't post it in the wrong forum.

Anyway, I shall not waste any of your precious time and just inform my problem.

About a few weeks ago, I went through my gallery and deleted quite a number of my arts. Reasons of doing so were given and a note said the deleted arts will no longer appear and in the future the actual pictures will be removed (or something similiar). The problem is, I come to check often and still the arts that are supposed to be deleted are still there.

I wonder if it's some kind of bug or something else?

It's probably just a cacheing issue. Pics take a while to actually vanish from the site, and if not, it's probably your computer cacheing it.

Hope it helps; you might need to clear out cookies or something, if it's a recurring problem and it's been already, say, a few days.

it takes a while to load about 10 mins or less would work. Smile

I don't think it's my browser's problem, since people can still comment on those supposed to be deleted pictures.

So, is there any way to solve this problem?
