Msnbc and Imus

I am 12 yrs old yet sometimes I go to my granma's and she always has Imus on so me who always watching the news and this week being my spring break have been following it.I do think what he said was wrong but he's a shock jock and they should have just suspended him not fire him. What makes me mad is that the President of MSNBC said he isn't leaving the decision in the hands of the basketball team which is right but he pretty much let Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson make it for him(not to mention they have some racial slurs to).Plus David Gregory (who Imus pretty much made his career)says on Hardball which I thought was a political show but I guess David knows nothing about that say I don't want to be ''associated'' with Imus.I think the whole thing is stupid Imus is human he isn't a superhero and he makes mistakes. he said he was sorry let it rest in pieace.By the way how does this Imus controversy fit in with the presidential candidates because every channel says ''what do you think about Imus'' then they go on to Iraq if you ask me Imus is not as big as Iraq. And I hate to say it but President Bush was right(but I don't see why that was asked at the Press Conference).
