I thought Batman wasn't to bad but didn't like Supermans, to me Superman is boring and don't get much out of seeing anymore so stopped seeing.
I can't speak for other people but they must have liked the first one to even consider the second one for Spiderman. I like the graphics and angles and overall stroylines, it just kept me interested as a whole.

I saw the first Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) at the cinema and thought that was pretty well done. The only thing I had against it, was that his webbing was organic and came right from his wrists, whereas in the comic he made the web himself and the web shooters he used.

The Spiderman movies are great because they are written and directed by people who KNOW of the characters and stories and have been associated with their writers and artists for decades.

Brian Singer went from X-Men to Superman, further fucking up comic book mythologies across the two best American comic industries.

And whats wrong with filling a hole thats been in the storyline for 50 years? Did you actually think tiny canisters connected to his wrists made sense as he was web slinging across New York City for hours a day? This change was overlooked by fans, even though its a pretty big change, BECAUSE it filled that hole that his little web-making cans made in every issue where he would never run out of web and you'll never see him change or refill the cans.

I guess you're right, unfocused. Still, it was a cool movie, and the web stuff was pretty awesome to say the least. I have number two on DVD and I haven't even seen it yet. I must get around to it sometime.

Going back to the comics, you did see him change his web cartridges over numerous times, right? And he actually knows he's out of fluid to change them over and all, Plus, he kept on making more batches of the stuff at wherever it was he was staying at. Good thing for the loft at Aunt May's hmm?

Still, I love the movie... the first one. Yup.
