It's sad it's not on TV anymore, but I did like it. Anybody know when it's gonna be released on DVD?
-----------
For n00bs to this show, "Drew Carey's Green Screen Show" was Drew Carey's second improv show, after the big hit, "Whose Line is it Anyway?".
The show pretty much ran like "Whose Line?" (see my "Whose Line is it Anyway?" forum topic for more information), except actors (now more than four) acted in front of a green screen, and animations were put in.
The show did have some previous "Whose Line?" actors, except that there were two new ones, and that Wayne Brady and Ryan Stiles were absent. The performers included Drew as the host (no sitting at a desk this time! ), Colin Mochrie, Greg Proops, Kathy Kinney, Jeff Davis, Chip Esten, and Brad Sherwood, plus new actors Julie Larson and Sean Masterson.
The show used to run on the late WB network (now The CW), and Comedy Central. |
