Eternal Lovers Of Darkness

If I was to reach high into the heavens and search for pure bliss,
The radiance found would never compare to the perfection of his.
Amazed by how much affection a single heart can produce,
Causing me to love without limit, desire so savage and profuse.
Without him I know I could not live my life,
For the world is suffocating in sadness, destruction and strife.

My pulse begins to race as I gaze upon your angelic form,
Making my fears melt away, removing all malice and scorn.
You may lose rationality at times as the yearning takes control,
But I swear to you my darling, I'll never leave you alone.
I have made my pledges to you beloved because you mean the universe to me,
I shall remove your wings from life's cruel shackles so you may soar free.

You deserve the entire universe and its finery for all that you endure,
