The old rating system was abandoned in part due to legal reasons (G thru NC17 scale is fully trademarked by the MPAA).

Note that you can still set your user profile preferences to either block out pics above your content levels, or display warning thumbnails for them.

Either way, the new rating system is here to stay, and Funart uses it as well.
