Wii or PS3? Where's the hype?

Fucking Weeaboo fagz, Sony is Japanese too.

PS3 has about 5 games out so far, so you can't judge it by game titles. Sony didn't launch the PSP or the PS3 with very good titles. Resistance is ok and I already had Oblivion so I couldn't get that, October has Assassin's Creed and GTA IV though. The PS2 gathered a massive amount of game titles over the years and I have no doubt the PS3 will do the same. I got a PS3, it was either that or a Wii. Xbox 360 is a less powerful PS3 basically.

Yeah I actually think Sony does have a chance to beat Nintendo again. The PS3 is starting to get a lot of exclusive games. I think when FF13 comes out, the PS3 will soar in popularity.

the Wii is fun to a certain extent....the pS3 has a brighter future....( if you can shell out at least $500 )

I kind of think the Wii's graphics have the potential of matching close to the 360's graphics, I mean look how good NFS Prostreet looks on it...

the Ps3's graphics are already as good/better than the 360's latest games....which meens it'll only get better. and they had some sort of conferance in Germany.. the Ps3 will soon be able to record TV (this is another way for them to compete with the 360 and wii, do to its insane price in comparison to the rival systems)

I like the fact that the Wii controller is different from normal controllers, and the console itself looks fresh and innovative. Roll on Super Smash Bros Brawl.

graphically----Ps3

innovation(but not really its almost a super eye toy)---Wii

all around affordability and game selection---360

if anything the 360 wins.

Wii. I love Nintendo. It just seems like the PS's are kinda copying Nintendo. But there are more hardcore games for PS through PS3, which I like. Still, I just think nintendo's games are really good.

OK, now I have a PS3. It's pretty awesome! But the Wii is still slightly better because it has better gameplay and that's what a video game is all about!

I have a Wii. I don't even play it that much. I only wanted one for Metroid Prime 3, as everyone on Metroid Recon had it, and I was really jealous. As for the PS3... UGH. It does not interest me one bit.

They each have some good games, some shitty games, and a few really good games.

PS3 has better graphics, can also double as a blu ray player, has a great controller, and I need my cardboard box warrior.

One of the things Nintendo set out to do with the wii was to get people who didn't normally play video games to play them. I think they've done well with wiisports/play/fit/etc in that regard. One thing I don't like is how most of the games barely use the motion sensor thing for anything other than picking things on a menu, and it is often [i]a lot[/i] easier to just plug in a gamecube controller than use the wiimote.

And the wii is cheaper.

I don't believe there is a clear winner between the two. You can't really debate which console is better, you have to compare specific games to each other.

Do you Wii-fanboys even own other consoles?
