About the whole "progression in one month" thing... You know, people don't always draw the same stuff/style over and over again. I, for one, draw loads and loads of really shitty crack-addicted doodles in my spare time. If I like them, or if I think they're funny, I scan them with the rest of my stuff. :\
btw, FAC doesn't have a rule against using references. :l I think it's pretty obvious that those weren't stolen... You guys don't even have solid proof it's "theft" beyond "it looks like this other picture, lolz". :l |

Everyone listen to Fayore. Unless you can find the originals, [b]we can't actually [i]prove[/i] a damned thing[/b]. And we're not going to delete a picture just on suspicion alone.
FAC has a rule against direct referencing (i.e. tracing), but the exact guidelines for determining when that is the case are, well... a bit fuzzy.

these aren't stolen, but one thing.. you CAN make such a huge improvement in one month, it's possible. I don't say this is one, but it is possible... |

In summation:
1. People can draw random crap doodles and upload them if they like. There is no rule against this. Not every picture will have the utmost effort and dedication put into it.
2. That date is the date of SUBMISSION. It is not a time stamp for when the user [i]drew[/i] it. We don't know when it is. It could've been that day. It could've been months ago. We. don't. know. All we know is that that was the day they decided to put the picture on FAC.
Someone close this thread. I think it's pretty evident that the images were not stolen; they were probably referenced but likely not traced as there are plenty of flaws in the drawings themselves. |
