How do you find galleries to view

As stupid as this question looks, it's serious.

I am curious as to how individual viewers go about finding the galleries they like.

If I missed any angles of finding galleries just say so.

I would be one of the all of the above people, random pics, forum usernames and so on

I like to go through the "Who's online" list. I just pick random people and go threw their galleries. It's fun and you don't know what you'll find.

I like to search through the Misc. folder (because everyone submits something here at one time or another), and after I find one really well-done picture I like to check out that person's gallery. If they're good, they obviously know what "good" means, so I check out their favorites, usually consisting of more good pictures. Then I check out those galleries and their favorites, etc.......

Me, the only times I really browse through FAC anymore are when reviewing categories to sort them out.

Back in the old days (haha) before the artist alerts, I was constantly going through the recent submissions every day, and that was how I found most of my fav artists, since there weren't any particular categories I was interested in browsing. This way, the artists I found would still be active and posting, so you could actually talk to them and maybe get responses, y'know. (haha)

Also, looking at the artists favorite-d by an artist with a really nice gallery are also highly recommended. If an artist draws good, they must be able to recognize good art as well (in most cases) and will have nice favs. :)

Just my personal approach (sadly, I have no more time to spend hours on end at FAC this way anymore...)
