As i said, if you restore your system it depends on when they were downloaded.
If you use hard disc defragmentation they wont be touched
And if you reinstall windows you also got to install all your stuff back.
What does it mean? Does it mean I'm running short on memory? I have a Windows XP, by the way. What should I do? Mad Should I delete some files to get it back to normal again? It's not very slow, but it's not as fast as it used to be; Windows Movie Maker freezes up on me all the time.
It means you have 30% of free space on you hardrive. Space on you hardrive won't efect performance unless you have large files. When space is low, large files such as videos are more likely to fragmented. Defragment your hardrive to improve performance. The reason fragmented files take longer to load is that they're spit into parts at different places on your hardrive, so it must read more of you hardrive to completely read the file. Also, Windows Movie Maker does not have internal codecs so it must use external codecs. So it would freeze when it is loading clips and thumbnails because the codec is reading the entire file for each clip and thumbnail. The larger the file, the longer it takes to show each clip and thumbnail. I'd recommend defragmenting you hardrive and using different video editing software.
