this is some very sad news James Brown Died At Age 73

and he will be greatly missed

I heard about that. Y'know what sucks. Some people claim they don't know who he is. They'd have to be living under a rock to claim they have not heard of him or any of his music/contributions.

Horrible loss to the music industry, as Brown was one of the most influential soul artists of the 70's and 80's.
But his death = funk's death? Hell fucking no. That's just pessmistic.

There is no reason you shouldn't be able to construct a nice paragraph without all of those lines of space. They're unnecessary.
James Brown's influence remains alive in funk musicians today, so no, funk didn't die any little bit. Funk was part of the man's legacy, which never dies. Through your legacies, you essentially become immortal, as long as you're remembered.
Brown's remembered.
