There's a lot of stuff about live-action anime movies but, I'm thinking about it the other way around, Animated live-action movies. Though this is not that uncommon. I would like to know what movies, series, and shows you would like to be a anime.

Nobuta Wa Produce. It's a Japanese TV drama which is just oozing with anime. O: It'd be an awesome anime- as long as it didn't have shitty animators. Gonzo'd probably do a good, albeit varied job with it.

As for a good live action I'd reccomend Nodame Cantabile. It's really funny. I find it amazing how they can replicate anime styled expressions so well.

I myself would like these series turned into anime:

Stargate SG1
Stargate Atlantis

and movies:

Harry Potter
and.. I can't think of any more at the moment.
It's in the middle of the night and I'm busy updating my site.

With all the magical girl anime out there, I could see Harry Potter working.

As for Stargate, they already made a Stargate cartoon. It sucked pretty bad from what I've heard. I don't really see it working well as an anime either.

It wasn't a anime, it was a FoxBox cartoon. And yes.... it sucked... REALLY BAD. Laughing

Star Wars: The Original Trilogy. Oh, yeah, that would be super cool!! Imagine in a New Hope, the Tantive IV over Tatooine as an anime opening sequence, or something like that. Oh... the Death Star battle in the first movie would look ace, too. Hmm hmm

Harry Potter: Well, maybe they could stick like glue to the plot, and not do little twists that don't belong in the book. Also, they could keep the costumes in the book, like the colourful robes people wore, as well as Cornelius Fudges' lime green bowler hat! I hated it when they changed the costumes the adults wore in the movies. Being an anime would be a welcome change, indeed.

Blade- the first movie. Well, it's the only Blade movie I've seen, but an anime would definately work... well, almost.

I want to see Ayn Rand's "Anthem" as an anime. It was a bore from a non-preachy sense, but I think that it'd make an excellent anime. Mainly because there was something just so..anime feeling about it. Probably the whole "Saint of the Pyre, lol" thing
