That's strange. I assumed that there would be an option to turn that on in the forum profile editting page, but when I tried to access mine, it game me:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /usr/home/.sites/106/site3/web/includes/template.php(127) : eval()'d code on line 255

I still receive emails for PMs. (Though, only in the forums, I think)
