FF Dirge of Ceberus | anyone else like it?

Hey all I got Dirge Of Ceberus for christmas and i think its a great game! But i also have the latest PS2 official magazine and the review of the game wasn't that good.. so i want other people's oppinions soooo someone reply Smile

Dull. It looked and sounded great but the actual game play was boring.

i know what you mean.. The intro movie is great! Square enix always make good intro movies but when it does get into playing the actual game it is abit dull... FF's are supposed to be RPG's that are colourful!

I got the game. It now has the distinction of being one of the few games I have played that I will never try to finish.

It makes me want to throw up (literally -- I can't play it for more than 15 minutes before getting sick).

The controls are horrible. It tries to be an FPS of sorts, but fails horribly. It also tries to put in some Devil May cry gameplay, and fails horribly there, too.

The computer plays like starwars stormtroopers (ie, they're 10 feet away from you and miss).

The final boss wasn't the hardest, hell i had a harder time with Nero than him.

The cut scenes are fancy...but the in game graphic are kinda disappointing. The game was kinda repetetive, crapy camera angles.....it just wasn't very good. I didn't even bother finishing it.

They really didn't add any new areas, excluding the Shera and Inside Omega. My point is, it realyl should've been longer, had a real world map like the original VII, and have more playable characters than Vin, Sith, and Chaos.

I think the game is fav.
I personally like Cid in it, because he is funny.
When i play it, it makes me feel sorry for Vincent
Anyway i hate the bad comments people made
they just don't realize how good i really is
Then again they might not be fans!

I played the game and beat it.
I didn't really like the game at all.
I played it only to find out Vincent's story.
I didn't enjoy the game play much, but it was nice shooting and everything. But the camera was SATAN! And the game wasn't really a challange. All boses were EASY. Even the final boss.
And it's not a game that I want to come back and play again, because the save points suck, and you can only have whatever you saved at that point and nothing more. Not fun.
But nice to know Vincent's story better, I wasn't really interested at first.

It was a good game, but too many cutscenes! Seriously, you play for 5 minutes, cutscene! another 2, put the controller down! What is the deal!? Anyway, it was a fun game...

That's the whole freakin' [i]point[/i] of a save-point system. It saves all your progress [i]up to that point[/i], if you did anything later that wasn't saved, well . . . "it" didn't happen, when you load your saved game, you pick up exactly where you left off the last time you saved the game. No sooner, and no farther.
