Differen't number of comments?

Hey, I'm new here so don't bite my head off if this doesn't belong here or this is an idiotic question. (If it doesn't belong here, a nice correction would be nice. Razz

)

Ok, i was just curious, I got an e-mail saying that somone posted a comment about a pic of mine. I wen't to check it out. It said there were 3 comments, yet it only showed two. So i logged off, then it said there were only 2 comments... logged back on again, and said there were 3 comments, yet it still only showed 2... whats this all about? Is there some way to post a private comment or something? Or is it just a wack-out with the comment?

EDIT: I guess realy what I'm asking is, if there realy was a comment posted, how do I read it? Because its not showing it.

It could be the fact they deleted it before you could see it.

Still curious why it would say I have 3 comments when logged in, and 2 when logged out though... Shocked

It's a cache issue I think. It'll be refreshed as time goes by.

Users not logged in see heavily cached versions of some pages of the site to lessen server load.

In theory, those should be updated instantly when anything changes, but its not perfect.

Additional updates are done every night.
