I Need Animation Software!

Can anyone tell me where to find animation software and what is best to use?

Can't go far wrong with Macromedia Flash.

Flash is quite popular.
Macromedia MX has limited animation support as does Adobe Illustrator.

If you want 3D stuff, there is 3d studio max and Maya. Maya is used for South Park so I guess it can work for 2d too.

ImageReady comes with photoshop, but it's really not good for much past making animated avatars, emoticons, etc. At least, not that I've been able to figure out.

Cinema 4D is da (very expensive) bomb for 3D animating.

Yeah, for whenever I do animations I always use Flash MX and ImageReady.

(OooO I can upload stuff, here's an example)

uh huh wasn't a problem, that was done with Image Ready, I'm not aloud to upload flash movies though, so I can't demonstrate Flash MX, sorry.
