Alternative fantasy, an occasional pinch of sci-fi... I like Historical Fiction a lot, and some other random topics. I like good mythology, and fables and the sort. Generally, I'll read all over the place.

Meh. Mystery was fun for a while, but I've gone more towards the psychological thriller type stuff.

...that and the cult writers. Palanuik is my god. Very Happy (Fight Club, Invisible Monsters FTW).
I can settle for stories that actually make sense, and that aren't bullshit love stories. I have literally seen fanfictions where its like this
"Person 1: h3y cn 1 tlk to u?
Person 2: ok, but ther 1s sumthng i wnt to say to u to
1: I have alwys lovd u!
2: lyk, omg! I hav alwys luved u to!
*makeout that I do not care to describe*"
Ok, I laid it on a little heavy with the chatspeak, but there ARE stories like that, and I hate them so much! Naturally, I tell the author how much they suck but in a more constructive way, and then I am hated forevers. Rolling Eyes
well i guess some are Oo well... sorta sureal and hard to follow ^^;

I love reading stuff that has a down to earth plotline that's somewhat believable, since most of us can relate easily to things that also occur (or may occur) in their everyday life. I especially love stories that are dramatic and full of surprises.

But, ironically, I also enjoy reading fantasy type stories. I think we would all love to have some form of supernatural power, or would want to live in a world full of mythical creatures and legends (or perhaps that's just me, lol). These sort of stories just give people a chance to break away from reality and I believe they can help develop our imaginations Wink

I love reading Sci-fi and fantasy stuff... Star Wars stuff if it's well written (i.e. they stick to the original personalities of characters...)
I like stuff that has lots of twists, so you never know quite where it's going...

i like fairy tales as well as sarcastically whitty books ^_^ i ADORE relationships where the couple constantly fights with each other XD it's SO funny when they both get BURNED! but i like imaginations. in my opinion true imagination is what brings out the best in the story, original imagination Smile
