| I'll say Mario because he has become the national icon for Nintendo since when NES first came out. His popularity is still around today, back when it all started in the early 80s. His fandom is known throughout the world. I'll say Mario. He's just....cool.... |

For game: Phantasy Star for Sega, Legend Of Zelda for Nintendo
For character: Nintendo gets Link form Legend Of Zelda, while Sega gets Nei from Phantasy Star 2. |
