For a long time I've been wondering why new stories by an author/artist get an update email, but new chapters to the stories don't. Sometimes I forget about a story that I really liked, and when I eventually do remember it, there's a load of chapters to read(not that this is a problem, since it gives me something to do and keeps me entertained at the same time ) What I'm asking is can there be a chapter update notice? It would be very helpful!

It is [i]supposed[/i] to be the other way around -- creating the story itself doesn't generate a notification, uploading the actual chapters does.

[b]Bug found.[/b] The code to send story notifications is there, all right, but it is simply not being triggered during the submission process.

Well, now that I think about it, I've never gotten a notice for new stories, but whenever I go to edit my profile there's a check box that asks if I wish to receive an update for it. So I don't know really, thank you for replying though!
