Addings Siggys Automatically When You Comment?o_o;

I noticed that alot of people, when the post comments, have the same thing at the bottom every time, or it's a different color..like, with Kaze-chan (I'll remove your name if you want me to ^^), it says 'Here, have a cookie!', and I was wondering..do you have to type it in, or is there some possible way for you to make it siggy-like? :huh:

You have to type it in yourself. That probably explains why they're [b]little[/b] things attached to the end of their comments, rather than stuff like (see sig below) .

I think it's best that there are no automatic signatures for making comments. You wouldn't want to see someone post a one-word comment and follow it up with a 400x200 siggie image, would you? That would be criminal....

I think allowing sigs on comments would be a bad idea.

But then . . . somebody could just have "w00t! Th1z r0x0rz!" as their sig and voil, instant spam, just add comment...

If you're responding to my previous post (the potential pitfalls of allowing sigs in comments), then hear me out.

The following types of comments are peeves to many of us:
- " So kewl! "
- " *does first comment dance* "
- " *faves* "
- " He's sooo sexzae! "
- (any combination of the above)

The last thing we need is to give users an automated means to drop such prattle on every picture they view. <_< If they want to do that, they'll have to spare the 2 seconds of typing it in themselves.

Now, if we could figure out a way to keep them from doing that in the first place, the world might be a better place to live in.

. . . Or maybe not. You can never tell with such things. :rolleyes:

PS: And if this isn't what you were talking about, please enlighten us as to what is. Smile

The last thing we need is stupid fan-girl siggies ("OmG! INuYasHA is sO tOtaLy MiNe!"), anti-fan-girl siggies ("90 fan girls dead and counting..."), gothic crap poems, depression sigs, and of course the person with a lot of profanity ("f**k, s**t, ass, whore, nigger, I rape children") in their sigs commenting on younger kid's pictures. Unless of course you could disable people's signature. Then I'd be fine with that.
