should we temporarily stop to allow people to join until we need more help? we have 5 people already....

I think five is enough for now. If there is anybody else that would like to join, we'll still keep the option open.

we should make a rule that if you are one of the people helping, you have to help critique at least 1 fic or you're out.

like, if there are three fics up for critiquing, they should offer to help with at least one.

just a thought.

perhaps when (if?) more people start asking for fics critiqued, we can allow more people on the Critique Panel.

but i think that if by the time someone has been part of the Critique Panel for a month, if they haven't actually helped (giving constructive critism, not agreeing with other people's posts and not adding anythign of their own) with at least one (maybe more?) fic, they're off the Panel.

that way people don't just sit here and do nothing.

just an idea.

we should have one of the members of the Critique Panel do a 'background check' on anyone who wants to join. like check out some of their fics and other posts to make sure they aren't just some no-talent hack who just wants to be on the Critique Panel so they can brag about it or something.

but i'll be ready to go back to critiqueing fics right after i get back! ^__^

laptops...thank goodness for them. now if only i could somehow get into the phone lines of the cruise ship and use them to access the internet without getting billed for it...

i need to finish editing a fic of mine...it's taking forever <.<

i have to convert it from an RP to a fic, but the other person i had been RPing with isnt' the greatest writer ( Rolling eyes

Probably. Do you think we should use (-)?

Also with the background checks, that's probably a good idea. How about this: each member of the critique panel must post at least two progressive critique posts per month. What about that?
