Im attend a Music College by the name of Musicians Institute. My cousin goes there as well and we got the idea to start an alternative rock band. Plus I do plenty of live performances and make CD`s as well.

i remember auditioning for a band. I was just to be able to play along to any beat the drummer could dish out.

It was quite awesome as I did it. The lead turned to my buddy (who was in a band with me) and said "we stole your guitarist." It was cool.

We had a drummer come in for an audition once. It was sweet. We were showing him some songs and out of nowhere he starting playing some killer drum riffs to it. It sounded so nice. He wasnt interested though cause my cousin was playing while we were talking. Well as of now were still on the look out for a drummer.

I started a fucking band once. I told my brother's christian friend he was the good natured bassist, and I was the angry coked up manager. Made him watch DBZ for inspiration and yeled at him a lot.

Yeah its pretty hard to find the right manager then again its always good to "know" people who can help you out and at least get your feet wet in the industry.

Take my advice, don't work with more than one girl in a band. Catfights aplenty.

I was in a band, the bassist went backpacking israel/europe for a year, the guitarist started College and I was left alone with the drummer..... I need new people with a different concept for the band because I didn't really like the last band's genre....

i used to be in a band called the Juicy Roosters (hahah, think about it). we played songs by steven lynch and corky and the juice pigs, as well as alot of original stuff. hahah, since then ive been in a crap load of bands, playing guitar and bass. but being in a band and keeping it together is really difficult. you have to be in with people you know and love. if theres a single person thats jackin up the music, either kick him out, or if its to sentimental or what ever, quit the band. youll go no where in music if the band isnt fit together right.

anyway, back to my story. my bass player for juicy rooster turned out to have a crush on me (yeah, it was a guy) so being around him kind of started to gross me out. and after that, my co guitarist RJ ran off with all of our money (like $1500) so we had nothing. then my drummer had to hitch a flight to japan to help his grandma or some pansy crap like that. yeah, thats the most interesting breakup band ive been in. now im in an acoustic emo band called relentless. working on a myspace, so if your interested, once we get it up come check us out.

We started our band one day when me and four other friends dipped out of class. We had almost 100 people cutting class that day just to here us play. There were a lot of "pink slips"
