the very first mairo game i ever played was on the original nintendo there was mario, mairo 2, mario 3, and super mario

I never really got play the original mario's i had a sega mega drive but i still enjoy them all to this date

^_^ I also played the old ones for nintendo, but then there are the old game boy ones I played (the ones for the VERY first Game boy) such as the quest for the 5 golden coins. I still play them today Very Happy

I remember one time I was playing Super Mario Bros.3 and I stumbled upon this flute that sounded like links ocarina and it took me to a pipe world type place. I think its called a warp flute or somthing.............. Wink

Does anyone remeber the super mario all stars cartridge...all the originals in one. If you really love mario and by some chance still have an old Snes lying around you need to get that :D

That mario movie was just crud!!!!! they dident even follow the true story line!!!! and most all..... where the heck is BOWSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grr!

they had some guy named king koopa instead of Bowser! and yoshi looked like one of those raptors off of jarassic park!!! theres so many things screwed up about this movie I CANT LIST THEM ALL!!! :wacko: :wacko:

Heres an interesting fact i heard on some game tv show once..although other people may not find it interesting.

You know why the mario bros. wear hats?

Its because back in the days when it was first made they didnt have the graphic capabilities to draw them, and thats the story behind why they wear their hats. I thank ya!

Thats true they wear the overalls for the same reason speaking of overalls mario changed the color of his from red to blue over the years .

Rarely have I seen this many pointless rants in a single topic.

Anyway, I'm not the biggest Mario fan, but I've enjoyed his games. SuperMario 64 was a decent game, but it could have been better. The original Mariokart for the SNES was awesome, but Mariokart64 was beaten out by Rare's Diddy Kong Racing. I, unfortunately, wasn't that impressed with Sunshine. I thought Luigi's haunted mansion was better. I'll have to check out Double-Dash. I have a copy of Mario/Duckhunt, but play Duckhunt more often. That game rocks big-time! I just love watching the birds fall to the ground after I shoot them with that awkward pistol!
