Do coloring pages count as art anyways?

Yes, as long as it was created by another artist other than who claims, it consists of stolen art. There was definatly a reason to suspect it. that one, i hate to make fun, but lol

I took a look at the users gallery, I agree, there are a lot of them in there. the thing with coloring pages it most of them (the real ones) come with limmited use permits, basicly saying you can color it and what not, but you ned to do the disclaimer thing, making them a rather boarderline collaberation. Basiclly more often than not it'll be rejected. because the limmited use permits vary and our own submission policy.

These how ever do not look to be official coloring pages but traces in some form or another, I doubt the one who made them had the rights to grant any permittion. on top of that this user made no attempt at any disclaiming the art work in the couple I looked at.

In addition to not providing any claim of fair use, in some cases the user actually does admit to [i]only coloring[/i] the submissions, and that the original piece was "not drawn by me". That certainly speeds up the prosecution.

I see the user also [i]had[/i] (emphasis on past tense ) six collage/montage submissions in their gallery.

I doubt this user will ever be on AA status again.
