Here's the inside story: I've had [b]Nintendogs: Dachshund & Friends[/b] for nearly two years now, and I have unlocked all the following breeds:

[*]Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

[*]German Shepherd Dog
[*]Shiba Inu

But, my question is, hearing it from various sites, is it true you can unlock the Dalmation and Jack Russel Terrier, too, in [b]Dachshund & Friends[/b]? Or is it just the Special Dalmation Version?

I have not found the proclaimed, "Jack Russel Book" on any of my walks - I've had this game for two years. Nor have I found the "Fireman's Hat" used for unlocking the Dalmation.

If somebody can help me out here, then many thanks to you.

You can get those breeds. It's really hard to find those items though. After having it for 2 years, I bet you've found an accessory called the "lucky collar". putting it on the dog you're walking seems to increase the appearance of rare items. I have had my copy about the same amount of time and haven't found them either. But I'm still trying!

Yes, I do have the Lucky Collar. But I rarely let my dogs wear it, though. I'll try just that.

Okay, I tried what you said. I only found one new item, which was the Gold Bar.

Last night, I finally unlocked the last Nintendog, the Labrador Retriever.

I still haven't found the Fireman's Hat nor the Jack Russel Book YET on any of my walks. And I have done so with the Lucky Collar. Which begs the question:

Is there another way?

Well, my friend used the factory loaded codes on her Action Replay DS to get all of the breeds without and glitches or anything.
