why is this?

sorry if you find this as annoying, but i just wanted to ask something,
i uploaded a picture yesterday, and everything was normal and now when i looked at my pendling list then the picture was gone, and it was not in my gallery either, and it was not one of the newly uploaded pictures eather.... so i just wanted to ask why this happened Confused

Are you sure you followed the submit rules and did you get a rejection email?

yes i did, but i didn't get a mail...

but i guess the picture got rejected cause i have a picture in my gallery (I have drawed it my self!>.<) and i animated it and tryed to upload it... -.- i think i can't upload the animated one cause it looks like my old one, but i'm not sure Confused

That shouldn't be a reason. There could have always been an error.
I would submit it over again...but then again I noticed that problem a while ago with one of my pics, waited, and eventually it showed up.
Wait for Strata's input on this one.

If you didn't receive a rejection notice, that's unfortunate but there's nothing we can do to re-send it. Check the usual suspects (i.e. spambox and mail filter options.)

And unless we have the submission ID number, we can't even take a second look at the submission.

I rejected the animated one, I can't remember why thought however, I did notice the diffrence betwine the two so it definately not on a double submission.

Give me a little wile and maybe I can dig it up and know for sure

It's kinda strange to reject something over that. Can't you just change the rating to what you deem appropriate and then accept it?

No, only moderators/admins are authorized to edit picture details. Besides, we've laid out the guidelines for what each label means, and it's the [b]submitter's[/b] responsibility to do follow it anyway. (See url:rules:ratings for more info.)
