Reading....what Do You Think Of It...?....

I like to rread but only books of my chioce...Romance and fantasy mostly....so what about all of you on fanart-central do you like to read or do you not like it at all..?...

I like reading! I like fantasy, romance, fiction, non-fiction, too. God, I'm such a weirdo. Well...anyway. Reading is fun. Unless I'm forced to do it in class. <_<

I agree...I like to read but only if its by my own free will...I hate those boring books that the teachers asighn one time the book my teacher asighned had a sex scene in it and i WAS IN THE FOURTH GRADE.

I mostly read Fantasy and Sci-Fi. Current favs are: Star Wars: New Jedi Order(kix movies' ass) , Hunter's Blades Trilogy (Salvatore rox!) Slayers (yes the original text novels NOT manga!)

Basically stuff that has strong character development and intense action set in well thought out universes.

My dad reads all of those but he is only like thirty something and he's loves star wars for like ever...I frefer romance over adventure becuase of the intencity of the stories.

I like reading when it's my choice. Hate forced reading, even if it's a good book, because I really dislike the "Read two chapters tonight" format. I'll read as much as I want when I want, thank you very much.

As for what is a good book... [u]The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band[/u] by the members of Motley Crue is the best book. Period. I've read it all the way through many times, and I always read a chapter or two randomly. Very entertaining. I've heard the Manson book is good (Marilyn, not Charles), so maybe I'll get that. And I really want to find copies of Jizzy Pearl's books, but I believe there was only a single run and he hasn't shown any interest in doing a second. Grr!

Yeah, I agree, assigned reading is not fun.
I actually tend to read alot more when I don't have to do so. I've probably been through about hmm...probably fifteen books this summer. Mostly non-fiction stuff, like alot of biographies and UFO conspiracy books. Fun stuff. Smile

wow, ive seen a lot of post's about "ming"

but getting back on topic here, i like adventure like Brian Jacques books are good, ive read almost all of them now Smile

i like fantasy books too anything with dragons is probably alright with me ^_^
