I don't know if this goes here or not, but i need help with the whole shipping thing. I've seen countless people with shippings, such as scar shipping, and I want to know how to do those.

"Shipping" can refer to two things:
[list][*]In real life, "shipping" means to send packages (other than envelopes or postcards) through a transport or mailing service.

[*]In the fanart community, "shipping" is shorthand for playing matchmaker with fictional characters. I.e., to have a strong interest (obsession?) with seeing a certain character depicted in a romantic relationship with another character. The word 'relationship' becomes abbreviated simply as [i]'-ship'[/i], hence the term, "shipping".[/list:u]
So for your example, a "Scar shipping" could refer to seeing the character "Scar" (probably the one from Fullmetal Alchemist) being romantically paired up with other characters. With Lust, Riza, Winry, or maybe even Alphonse.

Of course, there's a "Scar" in The Lion King, too, and some fans will give a mangy old lion a piece of that action too.

thats not exactly what i meant. there are many pairings under the title Scar shipping. like, for instance, my friend Nekogal411 has two different shippings with her OC dani. I want to know how those people make them, because I have seen many of the same shippings.

no. if you can, go to my profile, look at my comments, find Nekogal411, and look at her profile. she has shipping pictures there, an you'll see what I mean.

Easy. You need an image-hosting account (like Photobucket), upload your images there and link them using an [img] tag.

Oh, that? Yes, many of those pics were edited from actual screencaps (and rather poorly edited, at that.)
