I want to draw something that will ROCk but I have nothin to inspire me...my art isn't improving, I fear.
Sometimes I like going onto photobucket to look at different pictures that would be cool to ...not copy but inspire me I guess.
What inspires you when you draw? _________________ Life is tough following Jesus but it's impossible without him. |

Well, since I draw a lot of anime, basically if I'm watching InuYasha, I may want to draw this super cool pose of InuYasha fighting a big scary demon. Or, if I'm not watching any anime at all, but I want to draw it, I may go online, especially to www.anime-vidcaps.net and find screenshots I could use as reference to draw.
Other times, I find that the type of music reflects how I draw. Heavy metal may make me draw the picture in a angry mood, or soft rock songs may make me draw the picture in romantic or calm mood. |

For me i explore other peoples galleries, listen to music, and just relax untill the inspiration comes to me.
It may be different for you but its worth a shot. ^^ |

What inspires me? Well, I find that looking at the artwork on fantasy novels helps, as well as art from my artistic peers (music for me, strangely, gives me story ideas instead, probably because of the "movement" in music). Since I usually draw animals or dragons, I get my inspiration from these ornaments or decorations I collect as well. |

sleeping on it can also help, altho remebering what you saw is the hard part. it helps in those instances to make a dream diary. as for me? i go looking thru my card collections or play video games _________________ with this frame of mind you better pray i never get a point of view gun, too late i just did. just pray i dont aim at you then! |
