A few days ago I was watching some drawings on FAC and DA. Suddenly my screen went all black for about 6 seconds and then it did that every 30 mins. A few days it continued and then stopped suddenly. It's solved but what the heck was that!? Shocked

A really spastic screensaver.

Watching. Interesting choice of verb.

Could be the screensaver or energy saving of your monitor if you are not moving the mouse for a long time.

Also possibly your monitor (or less likely video card) is dieing.

Is your computer on the same power circuit/outlet as say an AC unit or water cooler/refrigerator?
If so then switch you computer to a different outlet or something.
The spikes caused by large energy units will directly effect the performance of your computer, its shown the most through the monitor or sound system.
