An original character who is an original character, not a fan character, who happens to be wearing clothing based off of, but not copied directly, from a character from a video game goes... where?

I would say the OC section... According to todays "standard practice".
Your placement of the character is accurate enough, in fact probably more so, I'd say.
Strata would be the most help here. |
