PM messages

can anyone help me?
i logged into my pm messages this morning and they have all disappeared,even the ones in my save box.
i know for a fact that i have not deleted any of them nd i have not given out my password or username..so wats going on?

(this may not be true) But I think the person who you were private messaging probably deleted the messages for more space in the messages, but then again i'm not sure. Contact a mod or something or wait for them to reply on this topic.

PM messages can only be deleted by a mod or the owner user of the PM Box.

The only other way that it would have gotten deleted is if you've done something to make the mods delete them or we had some kind of database trouble.

I didn't know that forum moderators/admins even HAD access to user PM's.

Sorry, I'm thinking of BB3.0 again. You're able to assign moderative permissions over multiple things.

They finally went gold.

I guess I'll setup a phpbb3 on beta at some point and start getting the migration ready.......but not this year.....

Yeah, It would be a jump.
There are so many more settings on it than there are on phpbb2

Yeah, custom BB is the biggest bit right now.
Well that and security. Their use of salt hashing makes things a bit more complicated for cross site spanning but its a simple thing to get around.
