Sure, we go to the movie theater every now and then. And oftentimes we walk away remembering one or two lines from the entire movie that were our favorites.

But this thread isn't about favorite movie lines. This topic is for those rare lines, those occasional quips, spoken by one of the movie characters that can potentially summarize and/or review the entire movie itself.

For example:

Morpheus: "No one can be told what 'The Matrix' is. You have to see it for yourself."
(...a comment about how a small wire-fu sci-fi movie became such a pop culture phenomenon)

Or:

Morpheus: "I have dreamed of this day for so long . . . is it real?"
(...a comment on how the Matrix: Revolutions ended)

Get the idea?

Okay then, hree's a quote to start off with:

(Disney's Pirates of the Carribean) Will: "This is either madness . . . or brilliance."
Jack: "Amazing how those two traits tend to coincide."

This, as a comment on the movie's silly premise (a movie based on a ride?) with respect to its runaway success. Smile
