You should Be able to mark a comment Spam.

For example-

I'm On a Forum
I make a thread
Someone posts A Stupid none related comment on it
I use my Handy Dandy Spam Button
The Spam Button reacts and Covers the comment up with a Spam Shell
The Spam Shell is like a Red Stamp-( Not the kind you use for mail, but for legal documents you stamp something for approval or not)-
The Comment is then Sent to a lower rank moderator
They Will either Delete the Comment or Remove the Spam Shell from the accussed comment

This could be a thing for the higher ranked forums like politics and such, its all I see it working on.

welll they have a category for random!

And I'm not talking about just a 'random hello' I'm talking about writing something on life assistance or something with specific topics. I would really rather not see a picture of someones Penis Posted on a serious thread

I know it would be abused, But thats why we'll keep record of those who post a comment as spam. And There will be rules to prevent from abusion.

ANd I Know Random is fun But On serious topics I Think it is unnessasary.

I mean, It's not like you can delete someones spam now! all you can do is report and then be called a sissy for doing so

I'm not even sure if this can even be possible with the current PhpBB forum setup. I know for one that it'll take a giant ass amount of coding to do it and since theres half a dozen things still not done yet, I highly doubt this'll ever come into play.

On top of that It probably won't be recognized or intelligently used enough to be helpful, more like giving newbies/nubs more weapons IMHO. Thats unless its only specified to the higher ranked topics, but still, people will get it confused and end up spam flagging posts that think is offensive to them anyway.

Yeah, but it won't cover the post for the users

You report the post as something and it gets flagged as a reported post, then it waits till a moderator or admin deal with it.
