Does anyone know a good way to remove lines from a drawing? As in, notebook lines? I know there's a topic bellow that asks for help but the original poster is asking for someone else to remove them, I'm asking for someone to teach me how to remove them. I have photoshop, albeit an old version of it. Razz

The image I want to clear is this one:

London created a Photoshop tutorial for removing blue lines from non-colored pencil or ink drawings. It works by basically copying the blue-channel data into the red and green channels. For best results, you may need to adjust your image contrast (so that if you eyedrop the blue lines it will have an approximate 100% blue channel).

You may just want to out line it with the pen tool on a separate layer. Usually looks better, because it gets rid of the grainy affect of pencil.

Nine times out of ten those get rejected, simply because most people don't do it thouroughly enough resulting in a drawing on greyish paper with white lines as opposed to whitish paper with blue lines. It's still lined paper only the line color is different.

London went and did that tutorial, there is little reason not to use it or to adapt it to what ever program one may have.
