[EDIT:] Slightly edited version up, fixed her hips and waist a little.
Damn now, but I think her legs and buttocks are looking too small. : ( It's tough comparing sketched-out work to scanned in work. Does it need fixing?

Pretty self-explanatory, huh? I'm really not good with female figures, so I just kinda squirmed and squiggled this. The hands, uh, a quick guideline would be all right, but I'll flesh those out later once I get down exactly how her body should flow. Anyone care to redline?
I've been told the head is too far from the shoulders/chest, but I really don't want to have to fix that, since I can't replicate this. Sorry. (/whine)
Anyway, some general tips and the like?
Also, yes, her one hand's a claw. _________________ |

That's a pretty shitty excuse. One of the sacrifices in art is having to start all over if it means you'll get improvement out of it.
My redline sucks and I hope someone can make a better one. All I have is my line tool in a cheap photoediting program.

Seriously, someone please make a better one. It's 1 AM and my anatomy sucks balls.
Anyway, what you have here is essentially breasts on a boy's body. Really, you should go look up some online anatomy resources, because your character has absolutely no underlying skeletal structure. She didn't have any hipbones to speak of and the legs were just kind of a blobby "this meat must go here" guessing mess. And she had no butt to speak of. And while a butt wouldn't be as defined through pants as I've drawn it, there would still be a visible curve, not just a cloth fold.
Overall, this needs a lot of reworking, but you're on the right track. |
