Demon-possesed?

My dad is getting all freaked out because he read the Wikipedia entry for Naruto and it says that Naruto is 'demon-possesed.' I'm worried. I don't want him to ban me from watching Naruto! How do I get him to not be so paranoid? Or is that impossible?

Have him watch an episode on youtube (and pick a really goofy one) just to show him it's not some satanist saturated trash.

Tell him it's referring to Japanese demons (it's an anime from JApan afterall) and those aren't really demons. More like impish creatures that like to play tricks.

Also, real demons only appear to people who sin, and punish them, so. Yah.

EDIT: certain kinds of demons, anyway. I can't really remember the specific types. Anyway, there's nothing wrong with Naruto. It's a cartoon on a children's TV channel, for Christ's sake.

I say that you should do what DG-Sama says. Trust me, I'll be banned from Gravitation myself, but this is about you isn't it? Anyhoo, I don't know anyhing about Naruto execpt for Naruto/Sasuke stuff, so I be not the one to ask.

I agree that you should explain to your dad that the Japanese[Shintoh] concept of a demon is a lot different to that of the Christian faith. I also agree that you should make him watch an episode or two, just to show him that there's absolutely no Satanic/occult content.

Right now I'm thinking of the episode of the Simpsons where Homer wins a motorbike and forms his own biker gang called the Hell's Satans, and Ned flanders requests changing the name to one "less blasphemous"

Imagine what your dad would think about the anime Death Note... Oh, well. But it is just pure fiction, after all. Places like Wikipedia like to give out details of where the artist got the inspiration from, and such... Yeah, I heartily agree with what others have said. Just show your dad an episode, or two.

4 years ago she thinks everything i now watch is demonic. she hates dragons spells ghosts magic witches and of course demons.
