You mean paper like this?

It's probably the three-hole binding. Fortunately for you something like that is even easier to clean out than lined paper. Copy/paste some blank paper area over the holes (use the clone brush if you have Photoshop/GIMP) and they'll disappear. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Yes, it's the binding holes. I know your submissions by them. I am not the one who rejected them but I do know how it happened, I have nearly done it a handful of times my self. Those binder holes give the appearance of lined paper at the thumbnail glance. You could try cloning them out or as Strata suggested cut copy a section of blank paper and cover them. _________________ RPG-n. If you don't know how to do that, or if you're completely foreign to Photoshop/GIMP, just use MS Paint. Just paint over the holes so that it looks like a section of the artwork. It may not be perfect. but it will keep your art from being rejected. |

MS Paint can only paint solid colors, that's why I said copy/paste some blank paper area of the image over the holds -- it'll blend in MUCH better than a solid color. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Exactly.
But some people on here probably don't even know how to use any kind of art program. Or they feel intimidated by an advanced program such as Photoshop.
That is why they should use MS Paint. Or at least find a tutorial of some sort to help them go about doing this. |

A tutorial on how to remove holes from hole punched paper seems like a waste of time (to make). Just don't draw near / between the holes so you can just crop them out. Or better yet, don't draw on hole punched paper.
It would take a lot of effort to erase the holes in MS paint, and if anyone was good enough to actually make that look good, he would probably have access to better art programs so that he wouldn't have to bother with paint. If paint is the only option, it might be better just to leave the holes in. _________________ Go Yankees! |

lol, why bother messing with cloning/cropping the paper when you could easily cut the paper...
As long as the holes are a good enough distance from the actual drawing, you could even just fold the paper over so you can still attach your artwork in a binder. |

Well if you still wanna keep the hole's but, with out doing all this stuff on the computer sch as cropping, cloneing, etc. just simpley fold the part with the hole's over so you can still clip it in your binder.
EDIT:heh, heh i didn't know Sora had already mentioned what i said. _________________ THIS SIGNATURE IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE. |
