Thought I'd see what everyone else on FAC likes to draw; if not, there wouldn't be a reason for this topic. Wink

Personally, I find myself biased towards headshots and canines these days; I really, really suck at drawing full-body shots and interesting poses, so I find myself moving more and more towards doing a headshot when I'm thinking about doing a full-body. I also guess that it has to do with the fact that the face shows a great deal of emotion; I find it fun to draw a person expressing anger, happiness, sadness, excitement, etc.

As for wolves, dogs, hellhounds, etc., it was the first thing I drew when I became an artist. Sure, back then my anatomy was darn awful, and I was a victim of "pillow shading" (-shudders-), but as time has worn on, I find that most of my improvement in art came from drawing anything dog or dog-like.

So, people of FAC, what about you? Smile

I like to draw people. Either full bodied poses, or head and shoulders pictures of them. Sometimes, I also like to draw flowers. I can't draw animals all that well, though.

Yup. I try not to attempt those. It's those damn petals and how they are arranged that make it difficult. Too much for me.

Humans. I just think the human figure is fascinating, and we're more expressive than any other animal. I can't wait to pass my goddamn basic drawing course so I can take figure drawing. I'm sick of drawing flowers in vases. Really. Really. Sick.

As for my favorite parts to draw, it depends. For women, my favorite part is the torso and hips. Drawing the curves and adding the little layers of fat is so fun. For men, heads. Angular male faces = glee

Have to agree with the expressive there, although I think some animals (such as apes and monkeys) can be just as expressive. Meh; my opinion.

Yes, it must suck having to do the same thing over and over again.

I enjoy drawing more ot realistic art. For realistic art takes alot more talent than Anime. Oh boy you drew Naruto so did 1 million other people. Its a challenge to master Realistic art(most) therefore increasing your skills towards art and respect.

I have a couple of anime-style pieces in my gallery, but I find I like realism better; those pieces were basically experiments.

I love anime style, and when others use it, as long as I can tell that they're practiced realism. I'm working on it. I was unfortunate enough to start with animu, but I'm progressing along. Any help is obviously appreciated, hurrr.

I love to draw how I feel, normally in the form of anime. Alot of the time Sailor Moon =P

Though sometimes I do like to stray away form the norm.

I like to draw anime and SOME realism I cant do realisms all the time sadly cause sometimes my hand doesnt like to cooperate with me ugh. I also love to draw dragons and felions and sometimes wolves too but mostly humans and demons are my strong point.

When it comes to a male I just ADORE drawing the torso, I like giving my males muscle yet not too much muscle and I also like drawing their hips too.

Hips, chest, and hair for the females.

When it comes to both I just love drawing their eyes, eyes are the windows to your inner soul so I really work hard on capturing their essence in their eyes. I also like giving my darker characters long sharp nails, guess its a habit of mine xP

And yes flowers are tricky blah, trust me I dislike drawing them but if I concentrate I can pull off a nice so-so rose nn

So yeah im pretty much a anime/semi realism artist; DEAL WITH IT IN THERAPY! -shot-

I love drawing realistically. Or actually, more like shading realistically. Just being able to show form and depth in vakues really fascinates me, and I simply cannot stand flat, simple shading in my own art Razz

But I'm a portrait person. Love to draw faces! Bodies are fun too, because human anatomy is just so interesting.

Personally, I just draw weird looking monsters. And stuff.
I've recently gotten into drawing portraits of my friends, although I haven't uploaded them yet :C
