Various suggestions from HF users ;O

Because HF runs on FAC scripting;

1>More stats in general like number of fans and number of favorited.

2>stats in a list style gallery

3>Paste the copyright symbol directly below the image, i.e. "artwork 2008 © krisCrash" under my drawings

4>the choice to see the images in the gallery by order of popularity or most discussed or most favorited

5>Does the voting system do.. anything?

6>Story thumbnails/preview should say something about the story: How about a customizeable thumbnail? How about it showing an except of the latest chapter? Featuring stories?

7> Stories should go through approvals. Just to catch the worst shit, both in terms of grammar and formatting errors! I know you don't check for quality on FAC, but on HF, we do. And our writers and writing fans are rather miffed that they have to comb through a lot of [i]LOLTEXT ROFFLECOPTER[/i] to get to the real stories. It will be up to us (I'm on AP staff there) to draw the quality line, so don't worry about that part.

8> favourite artist submission notices are broken. But you probably knew.

#1,#2 - Stats are hard to do. Some stats can be computed easily, others require more serious number crunching. With FAC's amount of traffic, it's hard to find a good compromise.

#4 - Already there, has been for a long time. I remember there being a bug in it though, needs more investigation first.

#5 - Galleries can be sorted by overall vote, that is all.

#7 - Already planned, not actually built yet.

#8 - Broken? I know there's a bug in the comment notifications, but last I remember fave-artist notices were working fine.

#5; ok. Well, I was thinking in terms of displaying the votes on the picture? At least to the artist. We're not sure if people actually do vote, however.

#8; we have the opposite situation in HF currently. Strange.

I think we might want an option during submission for "Encouraging Detailed Critique" similar to DA

I had been thinking about it for a wile primarily for PL but MasterDaniel brought up the subject of critique in random and I figured I'd bring it up as a suggestion for the four sites it would apply to.
