...we actually created artificial inteligence? I mean a real sentient being.
Let's say 50yrs in the future we create an android and it looks just like us and can walk and operate on it's own.

Then it gets consciousness AKA an awarness of it's enviroment and it's self.
Then it get emotions and I don't mean progammed into it real emotions caused by awareness.

After praise and glory then fighting for freedom (cuz u know we won't just give it freedom) It goes out into the world and a bunch of humans destroy it. Because we are agressive jelous beings who can't stand anyone differnt from us.

So what? Would God just say "It wasn't human so forget it?"
I mean God supossedly created us (I beleive he did but you may not) and we created it so why wouldn't he?

What do you think? Is all life equal?

He would do absolutely nothing because he isn't real.

If we created artificial intelligence we ARE god. As for what we would do, I assume enslave them.

It's not the quotation that's funny, it's how she spelled "equal"

and it's rather relevant, because Vhee said that all life is equal, you see, I don't know what quotation is any more relevant.

Let's assume, that God is real, for the sake of argument.

God would do absolutely nothing, because He's a the sick bearded douche bag in the sky, who likes to watch people die a bloody painful death.

I doubt he would care about a human-like android.

If god were real I would follow the Nietzsche approach. God is dead

From what I understand, Nietzsche meant that the possibility of God existing is dead, not that God once existed and is now dead.

Wasn't Nietzsche under the influence that our belief in god was dead?
Shit that doesn't really even make sense to me. I'm horrible with wording things.
Anyways, I've never read anything that Nietzsche wrote so I wouldn't know.

Under the assumption that the christian god is real. The christians I've asked this say that the life of the conscious, self aware AI would be an abomination to their god's sight. I've asked several different denominations of christian preachers this question and the answer varied. Most of the more radical and stricter denominations stated that god wouldn't allow the creation of such a life because it is man playing at god. The ones that admitted this life could one day happen are under the impression that this new artificial form of life would be subhuman. Aware of it's existance but nothing more than an animal like being not possesing a real soul. The more laid back denominations said they believed that god would take a semi-kind pity on the creature and merely erase it's conscious existance upon it's "death" effectively erasing that this life ever was because it didn't chose to be created by a sinful human. The human that created the being would be punished eternally though. Help out any?

I believe no righteous God would reject this being just because he was made by humans.

A favorite quotation:
"I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are." (Any Pokemon fans recognize that from the first movie?)

He would most likeyly treat it the same because as we humans were created by god abd we created the being. So frankly, God created it. Becasue if he hadn't created us how could being even come into existence?

Besides there is no difference between a real human and a artificial human; we are all just little particals of dust and that can easily be manipulated by any means. Adn we can all be turned into dust just by the wick of a flame.

...unfortuanatly how ever much we humans may think it, Science does not explain everything

No. Those born start with a similar opportunity, but the different experiences/encounters they go through make them individually different in status, looks, success...etc.

Actually, just because something created another, does not mean it created the products that creation made itself. Sad You make a machine that makes bubbles, but does that mean the creator was the one making the bubbles himself? Naw.

There is a HUGE difference between a real human and an artificial android/human. ;__; We may be all made of molecules, but those molecules include individual atoms of different elements, properties, and atomic number. This goes with my no life is equal mumbo jumbo; just because they have awareness, doesn't mean they will be looked upon as one of us. There will always be prejudice for other humans, so why can't we prejudice against artificial feeling humans? Even physically, they are unequal.
