What the heck!? help appreciated

When I'm trying to redo some art after it got rejected, I click re-submit, and it says, "access denied" Why is that? I'm even logged in!

For minor rejection reasons you should be able to edit & resubmit them within one week of the rejection notice, however the date-calculation performed isn't perfect and sometimes yields false negatives.

How do I fix this problem? It still says access denied. Is there anything the owners of the site can do?

There is nothing you can do except keep the rejection reason in mind and try again with a new submission.

Yes, this is a bug that needs fixing, but first we need to figure out exactly why it happened to begin with. That is going to require some serious time....
