My PS3 seems to hate some PS2 games, in particular MGS2. This is the third time it's frozen that game, causing me to lose hours of sneaking. :v
I guess there's no way around this other than saving often?
I have an adapter cable.. thing to transfer PS2 data on to the PS3. Is there a way to transfer the newer data back to the PS2 memory card? _________________ Go Yankees! |

What model PS3 you have? I got the MGS4 80GB one and when I play MGS2, I never have any problems at all. Eh. Either your disc is old and scratched or just the expected compatibility issues that still need fixing through updates.
As far as the data is concerned, just transfer it like you would anything else, obviously. If you still have the adapter and the memory card, plug it all up and copy, overwrite, whatever that shit.
EDIT: Sweet, auto-censoring. That wasn't here before. |

80GB. The disc is in excellent condition and plays perfectly in a PS2.
Ah, I didn't know I could transfer data back like that. I didn't bother bringing the PS2 to college since I figured things would work on the PS3, so I couldn't try it. _________________ Go Yankees! |
