Haha.
Yeah, just wondering if there is anything that I should do to improve myself for dragons (In the same side-view position) that I draw in the future.

Just for the record, this was taken through a camera, not scanned. _________________ |

I think the snout could be longer, and the neck a bit thinner. Other than that, I can't see anything else wrong with it. See, it looks more fish than dragon, to me. Sorry about that. _________________ The Force will be with you... always. |

No worries.
I actually, kind of, agree with you.
I knew there was something odd . . . _________________ |

It looks really nice! Yeah, maybe a longer snout. You could add more detail, such as scales, but other than that, I can't really see anything that needs improvement. Besides, scales may overcrowd the picture. Great job! _________________ |

Thanks!
Yeah, scales are sort of hard for me . . . I've been meaning to find time to practice doing some with scales. _________________ |

It's very nice but, like the other's said a longer snout, and a little bit thinner neck. Also more detail's. Add some scale's and use some shadeing and it will look great! _________________ THIS SIGNATURE IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE. |

Actually, could be fine as is, depending on the body type you're planning on giving it (the overall intention of the pic). Only change: More detail, give it more character, more life. _________________ Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to.
Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again...as well it should be. If you're not sure it's dead, put a bunch more holes in it, should fix the problem... |

I notice that every one is saying longer snot and a thinner neck
yeah you could go with that if you wanted too but That depends on the type of dragon. It looks like your dragon is a water type as its fins suggest
so actually a thick neck full of strong muscles would be Ideal for swimming.
as for the snout that all should depend on what it eats if it eats fish a long snout would be Ideal, if it eats plants a short snout could get the plant life at the bottom of a lake and make full advantage of its shape.
anyways do what you like. it looks good
just remember if you need inspiration for dragons I Suggest to look at Dinosaurs in order to make them look convincing. |
