Majora's Mask Ending

An oldish game, I know, buut I need something answered.
Okay, so Mikau dies, right? And in the ending Link is riding on Epona and going home. How is Mikau playing at the Milk Bar in the credits? Isn't he dead and Link riding away back to Hyrule?
I've always wondered about this and I'm hoping someone can answer this question. :3

It's Link wearing the Zora Mask. There is a part of the game (kinda optional) where you can go into the Milk Bar in East Clock Town at night (that is, if you've gotten the Romani's Mask thing from shooting on the alien-balloon things the First Night at the ranch).

Once you go in there, talk to Toto, the wierd fishlike Zora thing near the stage. He'll tell you to put on your different transformation masks (Deku, Goron, and Zora masks) and he'll instruct you to stand under a spotlight on the stage.Then he'll instruct you to play some notes with your instrument. Once all the spotlights are filled up with normal Link, Deku Link, Goron Link, and Zora Link, they'll all be playing their instruments.

That is how you see "Mikau" playing on the stage.

Are you sure? In the ending, he was playing with the band, the Indigo-Go's...

It was probably just Link filling in for Mikau for the performance. Confused
