Hello everybody, yeah! I'm hosting a contest again....hope to see better work this time! And to see the hot squall in all ways possible! Well let's go down to the main rules:

Rules

- All entries must be creation of your own, no copies, blah blah!
- 2 entries as maximun per contestant.
- The entries can be old or new.
- Only enter if you have the submission ready.
- Deadline - 1rst of August, 2008.
- Judge by me, muahaha.
- Announcement of winners - 2nd of August, 2008.

Prizes

1rst Place - A full colored drawing done by me in either digital or traditional format + Certificate.

2nd Place - A gray scale drawing done by me in traditional format + Certificate.

3rd Place - Certificate.

Judging Points:

Want to score the highest?? well then READ this section!

- Early Entry - 5 extra points. (This is only valid in the first week of the contest)
- Picture Size - Good - 10 points; Average - 7 points; Poor - 5 points. (A good size pic is around 400 x 400 toward 800x800. Less or more will be counted as negative)
- Method of gray or color shading. Good - 10 points; Average - 7 points; Poor - 5 points.
- Number of characters - 1 character - 5 points; 2 characters - 10 points; 3 or more - 20 points. ( As this is a Squall Leonhart contest, focus more in squall)
- Character Development:
- Full Body - 10 points per character.
- Half Body - 7 points per character.
- Head Shot - 5 points per character.
- Lineart - Good - 10 points; Average - 7 points; Poor - 5 points.
- Human Anatomy - Good - 10 points; Average - 7 points; Poor - 5 points.
- Lighting effects - 8 points if included. (example: shockwaves, thunders, etc...)
- Background: Good - 10 points; Average - 7 points; Poor - 5 points.
- Brightness/Contrast Balance - Good - 10 points; Average - 7 points; Poor - 5 points.
- Funny picture - 6 points if included.
- Romantic picture - 6 points if included.
- Battle scene - 6 points if included.
- Weapon Included - 3 points per weapon.
- Drawing with Comic design - 12 points if included (Is to do a little short story, when charcters talk, It can only last 2 pages because that's the limit, so watch ur space if doing this).
- Poster Style Drawing - 15 points if included. (Is to draw a pic about any moment in the game of FFVIII in some sort of Poster Style. Remember focus on squall !)

I swear I've nearly added a rule like that to some of my own contests. Nothing says that you're interested in a contest quite the same as showing up with entry in hand, yes?

Thanks Stratadrake, I hate sometimes when that happen. Just join if you have the submission ready, otherwise no, but also you can ask anything you want, I'll be soon adding the points rules, I judge drawing by points, just to let everyone know.

Hey, thank you very much for the invite. I really appreciate it.
Unfortunately, I never had enough confidence to enter contests. I know the worst that could happen is I wouldn't win anything, but still. Too much work just to get beaten horribly. Sorry.
