Something's not right.

Using my own hand as a reference, I decided to draw the aforementioned part of the human body, due to the fact that it is challenging for me and I need practice. I'm pleased that I got the general shape, but is there anything I can do to refine it? Something about the ring and pinky fingers is kind of putting me off, and the palm and wrist annoy me for some reason.

If you feel that the fandom is worthless, then fighting the urge to pass judgement on a picture based on that fandom is a rather good idea.

the way the hand and thumb is angled, you shouldnt see that much of the thumbnail.
I think the fingers slim down too much at the tips.
The wrist should be slimmer also, right now it's as wide as the palm.

are you left handed? just wondering...

anyway, as angelskip43 said, the finger tips seem too small...and just a bit square so you should try to round them off some more.

also, it seems to me that the inserts between your fingers go too far down. It makes the hand look a bit stumpy. So just raise them a little bit, and that should be fine.
